Suicide by a 12 – year – old girl in Argentina is linked to the Momo Challenge in the latest case of social media that has a wrong influence on children and adolescents.
Momo is a social media account of WhatsApp, Facebook, and Youtube, using the image of the fear work of Link Factory, Mother Bird, to arouse the curiosity of children and encourage communication with unknowns.
Creepy account seems to be related to three numbers in Japan, Mexico and Colombia. If the user refuses to control the game, Momo threatens them with a violent image. According to cyber criminal experts, Momo's challenge is a fraud aimed at stealing information.
