AirPower on the Fast Track to Failure

Apple 's AirPower wireless charger was announced more than a year ago, but it has not shipped yet. Apple also deleted references to the website. The new report shows that the device is suffering from technical problems and can never be delivered.

Phil Schiller announces AirPower in September 2017

Sony Dickenson, the cause of a well-known leak, says insiders are shaking AirPower's position and that is not true. This device is charged as a wireless charger that supports up to three devices such as iPhone, Apple, AirPod, etc., so they are all charged at the same time.

According to internal sources, the device claims that thermal management problems, communication problems between devices, interference problems are occurring now. In short, AirPower is only a big handbag of failure at this stage.

According to the report:

At the moment, since Apple's latest iPhone event, Apple has removed nearly all description of the wireless charger from the website at the moment, suggesting that the product will be canceled or significantly delayed. I returned to a new design drawing board that looks different from Apple at the iPhone X 2017 event.

In this report Apple says that AirPower is deleted and "AirPower concepts and brands may be applied to completely new products".

It seems safe betting to delete AirPower now and find what uses the same name. Apple only showed prototypes in 2017. A year later she did not have that idea.

If you do not mind AirPower, or the promised AirPods Wireless Charging Charger, you may have time to look for alternatives.
