Amazon Prime Video Is Back In The iOS App Store And Apple TV

Amazon’s premium video streaming app seems to have been removed from Apple’s Apple iOS and Apple’s Apple TV store. Twitter reports indicate that when attempting to update Prime Video, an error appears stating that the app has been removed from the app store by the developer.

The e-commerce giant’s streaming video application on Friday morning was no longer available on Apple’s App Store for iOS or Apple TV and was not included in searches for Apple services.

Perplexed users around the world have published on social networks the sudden absence of Prime Video on Apple platforms, some speculating that the problem could be related to a technical problem rather than a commercial dispute.

“Earlier in the day, a technical problem affected the Prime Video app on iOS devices and tvOS,” said an Amazon representative in a statement. “The problem has been fixed, and the Prime Video app is available again in the App Store.”
