Apple Adds Dolby Atmos Support for iTunes Movies in tvOS 12

Apple TV's Dolby Atmos audio support is one of the important features of the next TV software update, but beta support is currently limited. Some Apple titles in iTunes Movies have been updated to work with immersive audio features, as Apple is preparing the next month's release of tvOS 12.

If tvOS 12 appears in Apple TV later this year, Apple will be updating the movies purchased on iTunes for free with Dolby Atmos support when using Dolby Atmos' speakers.

Apple also used this same strategy when upgrading 4T and HDR iTunes movies. tvOS 12 makes Apple TV 4K the only broadcast box that supports high dynamic range Dolby Vision image quality and immersive Dolby Atmos sound.

The support of Dolby Atmos of iTunes Movie is sporadic in the summer, but the audio format overflowing presence is popular this week from without using the VUDU application as a workaround.

The titles and advertisements purchased from the iTunes Movie Store are now available for Dolby Atmos support. In the title of Dolby Atmos, there are Baby Driver, Blade Runner 2049, Justice League, Deadpool 2, Peter Rabbit, Spider-Man: Homecoming, suicide team and others.

Simply searching Siri for "Please show me a movie at Dolby Atmos" will return a list of movies that Siri will be "awesome sound at Dolby Atmos." However, open all titles in iTunes movies and other applications. We will use compatibility with Dolby Atmos.

Dolby Atmos works with Apple TV 4K and Dolby Atmos compatible speakers and receivers.
