Apple stores now sell Spire Health Tags for holistic self quantification

Apple's retail chain began selling Spire Health Tags this week. Spire Health Tags is attached to clothes, monitors heart rate, and has started selling small machine washable long life devices according to footsteps, respiration, sleep levels.

Spire, specializing in the development and sale of health monitoring devices, says that the easiest way to monitor and manage sleep, stress, and activity is a health label.

Small gray home appliances are thin enough to fit in most clothes such as bra, underwear, pants, pajamas. The integrated optical sensor on one side of each identification tag contacts the skin of the user to monitor the heart rate and the motion sensor incorporates various measurements.

The accompanying iOS application imports raw data from the tracker and translates it to inform the user of daily activity, stress level, quality of sleep, breathing, etc. to the user. In particular, the hardware / software combo identifies the moment of tension according to the breathing pattern. Users are told that the stress level is high and breathing exercises to relieve tension are done.

"Continuous health data revolutionizes the health and welfare of the world, but the initial user experience and hardware focus on the hardware results," Jonathan Palley says. Founder of Spire. TechCrunch. "By removing this device, we believe Health Tag is the first product to bring out its possibilities."

Unlike other health tracers, Spire's products are designed to be unobtrusive to Apple. As the company is designed as a semi-permanent solution, he claims that users will not feel the label during everyday use.

The label is affixed to the garment via an adhesive, which means that it is actually part of a hospitality garment. Labels are hypoallergenic, washing machines and dryers, including batteries lasting one and a half years.

Based on Spire's first product, The Stone, the Health Tag is started in 2015 and is committed to tracking stress levels by measuring breathing patterns and activities.

Apple sells health tags at three, six, or eight packs at $ 130, $ 230, and $ 300, respectively. Spyer also sells tags directly to its website. A single tracker costs $ 50 and 3 packs and 8 packs are sold at the same price as Apple. Spire is now starting promotion …
