ASUS X018D Might Be The First 18: 9 Smartphone From The Taiwanese Tech Giants

Most of the smartphone players have joined the trend of 18: 9 panels and it seems that the name on the list is even ASUS – a company that prepares a budget phone with such a screen. Thanks to a listing from GFXBench, we discover the existence of a mysterious phone with the Asus X018D code that runs Android Nougat and which adopts such a 2: 1 or 18: 9 display as commercially known.

We find here that the phone, code named ASUS X018D will opt for screen only 5 inches with HD + resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels, a sign that we will deal with a very small terminal. The device is said to equipped with 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor on the inside, the Mali-T860 graphics solution and 3GB of RAM. Internal storage is 32 GB, but only 23 GB will be available to users as disclosed in this leak.

We also receive an 8-megapixel selfie camera that shoots Full HD and a 16-megapixel primary camera with support capture 4K Ultra HD, autofocus, HDR and LED flash. Due to modest facilities, we expect a very affordable phone and probably a metal construction. In the coming months, we should see some certification of the handset.
