“The live image gives us our first complete look at the OPPO smartwatch, from the curved display to the black silicone watchband”
OPPO is preparing to launch its very first smartwatch ever, probably alongside the Find X2 in China. The VP of the company, Brian Shen, has been teasing the design of the OPPO smartwatch in recent weeks and recently gave us a partial glimpse of what the product will look like. Happy, 91mobiles has received an exclusive live image from the OPPO smartwatch thanks to tipster Ben Geskin. The live image gives us our first complete look at the OPPO smartwatch, from the curved display to the black watch bands. The smartwatch has a square form factor and two buttons on the right, which we also saw in an earlier view shared by Shen.

The live image of Ben Geskin gives us a clear view of the double curved glass display of the OPPO smartwatch. The 3D glass that protects the AMOLED screen has a higher curvature compared to the curved glass on the Apple Watch, and the OPPO VP has in the past expressed its excitement about this design choice and called it a “game changer”.
Although the square case makes comparisons with the Apple Watch, the buttons on the side look different. There are two flat buttons on the side with which the user can operate the UI, such as starting and pausing training sessions, selecting different modes and returning to the watch face.
The live image of the OPPO smartwatch also shows the Settings menu where we see options such as the multifunction button, battery, password and more. Finally, we see the silicone watch bands in black color, which is again very Apple Watch-like. An earlier image shared by Shen also refers to optional leather belts.
OPPO has yet to announce an official launch date for the OPPO smartwatch. It is possible that the company will unveil the watch alongside the launch of OPPO Find X2, which will now take place on March 6.
