LG, like Samsung, has decided to skip over that of the unlocked models of the initial roll-out, at least for a little while.
Fortunately it is unlocked and LG G-8 ThinQ owners don’t have to wait too long for an update. Reports on the Reddit claims LG has already started rolling out the Android 10 update to the unlocked, G-8 ThinQ-enabled devices in the united states, in particular, with the model number LG-G820QM.
Since this is a fairly large update, so you need to make sure that you have plenty of storage space. However, there is not a lot is revealed in the screenshot, the update weighs in at around 1.9 GB and you can download it via Wi-Fi network (with the exception of (2G).
Unlocked The LG G-8 ThinQ owners should have the right to expect that the January security patch, there is a newer update than the one released to the carrier-specific units.
