Xiaomi’s patent, shows a more practical version of the Mi-MIX-Alpha

“This patent shows a Xiaomi phone, with a display that’s curved on the back, but it does not cover the whole of the back”

Don’t forget to e-MIX Alpha? Well, it’s easy to forget a phone that comes with a unique wraparound display. In the Mi MIXTURE, the Alpha was strong, with a a single piece of a flexible OLED panel that is around the entire front and back of the phone the provision of a 180.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio. 91mobiles it has now been discovered a new patent filed by Xiaomi to what appears to be a more practical approach to e-Mix. Alpha. This patent shows a Xiaomi phone, with a display that’s curved on the back, but it does not cover the entire back. This is a great piece from the back, which for the avoidance of any scratching of the surface when placing your phone on a surface.

As you can see from the picture, this iteration of the Mi MIXTURE, the Alpha can still see the display wrap around the edges, and extend in the direction of the back, but that is only part of the time. You can still be a part of the display screen on the back of the phone. The rest of the back panel, usually of glass, and a dual-camera setup on top of it, in accordance with the patent statues.

The reason for this seems to be a more practical design compared to the Mi MIXTURE is Alpha, because with a full wraparound display can easily be scratched, no matter how you place the device on a surface. It’s hard to say whether Xiaomi will launch a smartphone with such a design, but it seems to be a more commercially viable product than the e-MIX. Alpha.

In the Mi MIXTURE, the Alpha was launched in September of 2021 at the latest, but it has yet to go on sale. It was reported last month that Xiaomi had to delay the launch of the Mi, MIX of Alpha, as a result the production problems. Xiaomi also revealed the Mi MIXTURE, the Alpha-in India, the phone is also listed on Xiaomi India website, but the company has indicated that it does not intend to sell the device in India. However, Xiaomi does plan to the launch of the premium for the Mi phones in India this year, and it has been confirmed that the 10-Mi and a Mi Of 10, Pro will be launched in India.
