WhatsApp takes the automatic backup of the chat history and the messages each night at 3 PM and all backup store in your smartphone at Whatsapp folder. Folder location depends on upon your device you specified or choose external or internal storage.

Steps to Restore Deleted Whatsapp Messages

Step 1. First of all,  Open your SD card and then go to the Whats App > Database.

Step 2. After opening the Databases Folder, you can see your conversation backup data which are the like msgstore-04-05.1.db.crypt. These files are not given these names clearly, However, if you see carefully then you’ll understand that these data consist years.

Step 3.  In that folder, you can see that there is one file named as msg store.db.crypt, You have to rename that file simply by including a name in front of that.

Step 4. After completing the above steps carefully, search for the file which shows you date before you have deleted your conversation.

Step 5.  After recovering that data, rename that file to msgstore.db.crypt.

Step 6. Now go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Whatsapp and then clear all the data.

Open WhatsApp again and then select the restore option which will be automatically shown to you as you open the application.

Step 7.  That’s it! Now you’re done.
