Audible brings local audiobook playback to Apple alongside OS 5

The Audible mobile app was updated this week to support OS 5 and I was able to listen to a complete audio book without a nearby iPhone.

Books must first be synchronized with the iPhone Audible application, but the reading will be completely transferred to Apple. In addition to the standard support commands, playback options include speed, sleep timer, and chapter list.

Users can browse all titles recorded in one and delete completed ones or take up space.

Audio book and podcast cache support was one of the most anticipated updates of OS 5 released on Monday. We have been supporting music synchronization for a while, but until this week Apple's Podcasts application has not synchronized iPhone episodes. This became a problem especially for fitness enthusiasts who frequently listened to podcasts during running and lifting sessions.

Audible application can be downloaded for free and requires iOS 10 or later iPhone. However, his accompanying service costs $ 14.95 per month after a 30 day trial period.
