BlackBerry Ready To Launch Its ‘KEY2 LE’ At IFA 2018

Blackberry is organizing an event on August 30th at IFA 2018 in Berlin, Germany. The Canadian company shared the invitation “Save the Date”; However, he did not mention what the event is for. There are rumors that the brand could announce a new smartphone called the BlackBerry Key2 LE. The handset has recently been featured in leaks, revealing its main features and characteristics. It is said to be a reduced version of the KEY2 (review) which was launched last month in India.

According to the leaks, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE could feature the QWERTY keyboard and a robust design, just like its predecessor. In addition, it can borrow some of the features of KEY2, including a fingerprint sensor mounted at the front under the space bar and shortcut buttons.

Regarding the specs,

The KEY2 LE is likely to house an Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC with 4GB of RAM and a 32GB / 64GB storage option under the hood. The screen should display a full HD + 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels. For shutters, the KEY2 LE can be equipped with a dual-rear camera, consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel sub-sensor. Its front camera sensor details are unknown at the moment. The handset could be a non-removable 3000 mAh battery.
