  • Right click on the shell folder, select New and then the Key option.
  • Rename the newly created key to diskcleanup.

  • Set the value to Disk Cleanup.
  • Click OK button button.
  • Again, highlight the diskcleanup folder on the left side panel and right click on it, select New and then the Key option.
  • Right-click on the newly created key and select the Rename option. Change your name to the command.
  • Highlight the command key by selecting it and double-click the string (Default) in the right-hand pane. Set your value data to cleanmgr.exe /d %1.
  • Click OK button button.
  • After completing the steps mentioned above, you can close the Registry Editor window. Open File Explorer by pressing Windows shortcut key + E and then right-click on any disk drive.
