To disable history tracking of specific websites in Chrome, we use the History Site Blocker extension. The extension can be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store, but after you install the extension, you won’t see a new one button in the expansion area. Hiding the icon is a good way to protect privacy and you must open the Chrome Extensions page to configure the extension. Click on Chrome menu button and select Extensions from Tools.
On the Extensions page, find the History Site Blocker extension and click the Options link next to it. All you need to do now is write down the full root-level URL of the website you want to remove from the browser history tracer. You can add multiple website links separated by commas.
Finally, save the settings when you are done. Chrome will not track pages and subdomains of the websites you mentioned in the extension as of now. However, your browser will hide all other traces, such as cookies and file downloads from those websites, for which the Incognito tab can help.

Automatically delete history for some websites in Firefox
Firefox users can install the HistoryBlock add-on for the same task. Restart your browser after downloading the add-on from the Firefox Add-on Center. Again, just like in Chrome, you won’t see a new icon in the Firefox interface and you will need to open the extension settings to configure the plugin.
Click on Firefox menu button and click Add-ons. Here under the extension settings, look for the extension HistoryBlock and click on the options button next to it. Now here’s the tricky part. You must add the URLs you want to blacklist one after the other and you can only add one URL at a time. If you want to delete the URL on any day to keep track of history, you will need to manually enter the URL again and the button Clear the blacklist (and press OK). Therefore, when configuring the add-on in Firefox, it is very important that you remember all the URLs that you have blacklisted. Make a list and keep it somewhere.
