Technology is always evolving, but no matter how good it gets, chances are you still run into problems every now and then. While the Roku has been out for a while, devices are no exception, but it’s usually something simple that doesn’t take long to sort out.

Most common Roku issues can be fixed by restarting, updating or factory resetting the device.

Restart your Roku

Restarting your Roku is much easier if your Roku responds to commands you enter on the remote. If your Roku remote is working:

  • tighten Home button on the remote.

  • Select Restart.

  • The Roku device will restart.
