It’s hard to find a good Android tablet unless you’re willing to splurge, which is what makes Amazon’s Fire lineup so appealing. Not only does the company regularly update its listings, it also keeps prices low, with the latest Fire HD 8 selling for just $90. Amazon’s tablets run Fire OS, a forked version of Android with a home screen and, most importantly, drops the Google Play Store for Amazon’s own app store. While it includes some popular apps and games, there’s simply no substitute for the Play Store – especially if you’re looking for apps like YouTube, Chrome, Gmail, and more.
