There are two ways to see Wi-Fi passwords on WindowsYou can use:
- Command Prompt Commands.
- A special third-party tool.
1. Find Wi-Fi passwords with the command prompt
Press the Windows + R keys and type cmd in it Run dialog to open the Command Prompt window.
Now run the command below:
netsh wlan profiles
This will list of all WiFi SSIDs stored on your Windows PCYou need to refer to this list to find the password of the respective SSID using the following command.
Now enter the command below and replace the Wi-Fi SSID section with the actual WiFi SSID you want to know the password for.

The above method is a good native way to see Wi-Fi passwords, but it can be a bit cumbersome. A more convenient method is to create a third-party tool that shows all passwords and SSIDs in one interface without any extra effort.
For this purpose, I use my favorite Nirsoft utility – WirelessKeyView. It’s completely free and very easy to use too.
Install WirelessKeyView and start the app. Without any intervention, all passwords will be revealed to you along with their SSID. You can copy this data and even export it to a file to move all passwords to another PC
MacOS
