Before, when new iPhones came out, people would line up up around the block outside the Apple Stores to be among the first to get your hands on the device. Then it would normally be sold immediately and nearly impossible to find for days or even weeks. Apple has gotten better at managing demand, and many people shop online now that the iPhone’s dramatic lines are largely a thing of the past. But what about the offer?
In the pandemic, we learned that our international supply chains are quite fragile and our reliance on overseas manufacturing has led to shortages of all kinds of products, from cars to video game consoles and garlic. So far, there are signs that Apple has been able to undo these problems, thanks in part to its aggressive long-term planning. That doesn’t mean you’ll have easy access to an iPhone at launch, but it shouldn’t be as hard to find as, say, a PlayStation 5.
There are rumors that the Apple Watch, on the other hand, may have limited supplies at launch. But this is due to a non-pandemic problem. According to rumors, Apple struggled to maintain normal production to produce in high volume.

Virtually all of Apple’s virtual events so far have been held at its multi-billion dollar “spaceship” headquarters in Cupertino, California. But this time, Apple CEO Tim Cook posted a photo on Twitter of a different location where the company will host at least part of its event: The desert.
One can bet this could be a reference to rumors of satellite emergency calling features that will be incorporated into upcoming iPhones. We will have to see.
Today is the day.

There’s always the feeling that you can’t entirely know what Apple will release at their events, although we have a pretty good idea of what’s likely to happen for their “streaming from California” event. All the leaks point to a new iPhone, probably called the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7. (We could also see the rumors of AirPods 3). The event, which will take place virtually, could showcase a new iPhone design, along with improvements to the phonede camera and other specifications. Apple has not discussed its plans for the devices, other than a mention of four new iPhones in a lawsuit with the Federal Communications Commission.
what we know so far
The most dramatic change for the new iPhones, besides the better cameras that Apple always tends to offer, is said to be the ability to make calls and text messages in emergencies when there’s no cellular coverage. Generally, however, they are expected to still rely on 5G wireless technology for day-to-day connectivity.
The iPhone 13 arrives a year after one of Apple’s most successful launches, with the iPhone 12 with 5G. The device offered the first major iPhone design makeover since 2017, when Apple introduced its $1,000 iPhone X, with its new facial unlock design and improved screen technology. A survey conducted prior to the iPhone 12 announcement by Decluttr, a device recycler and reseller, found that 53 percent of respondents planned to buy the new iPhone, triggering what analysts call a “supercycle” of phone Updates.
Apple reported an increase in iPhone sales in the three months after the iPhone 12 launch. In January, the company said that iPhone sales during the holidays increased 17% from a year earlier, helping to push the company to its biggest recorded revenue and profit always.
“It’s not far from us that this result ends the most challenging year any of us can remember,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said in an investor liaison after publishing the company’s financial results. “It’s an understatement to say that the challenges this posed for Apple as a company paled in comparison to the challenges it posed for Apple as a community of individuals, for employees, their families and the communities in which we live and love to connect. home. ”
“These results show the pivotal role our products have played in helping our users respond to these challenges,” added Cook.
