More than 1 billion active users per month communicate with the Instagram digital water dispenser.  And over 500 million of them use Instagram Stories every day.  A third of the most popular stories are posted by businesses, and this year, brands will focus their marketing skills on these 15-second videos (or 10-second photos) with a 24-hour shelf life.

In 2019, Instagram Stories' engagement growth outpaced that of its photos.  Videos generate more comments than a static snapshot, and because Instagram's algorithm constantly changes, stories are more likely to be seen than feed posts.

## Steps to Create a Month of Posts Using Canvas

Log into your Canva account (on your desktop)

In the upper left corner of the page, click on the "Templates" tab.

In the "Social Media" section, select Post on Instagram.

Choose a layout you want to use.  Then select “edit this template”.

You can then rename the file in the upper right corner of the page.

Next, you want to select 'add a page' in the first graphic and then select one of the templates to the left of the menu (under templates).

Repeat step 6 until you have about 7 pages.

You can then add your brand and messages.

Click on the Page Manager in the lower right corner of the screen to see all the images created.

You can then select all the images (click Command A on a Mac or Control A).

Then, in the upper right corner of the screen, click on the copy icon.  And now you will have 14 more images

You can duplicate step 11 to create more images until you get 28 or more.

When you're done editing your images with their content, you can select to download all the images, some or one at a time.

Use the Canva content planner

Schedule through Facebook Creator Studio (now Business Suite) within the Facebook Publishing Tool

You can use a third party platform like Buffer.com, Later.com or Hoosuite.com to schedule your Facebook and Instagram posts.
