In 2020, many smartphone manufacturers are installing high capacity batteries like 5000mAh and 6000mAh in their latest smartphones.  These smartphones can easily give a day and a half of use, which is very good.

Because many of us love to use our smartphones, but we don't like to carry our phones all the time.  Unfortunately, Apple does not provide high-capacity batteries for the iPhone.  That's why most people turn on power saving mode on their iPhone all the time.  The problem with low power mode is that it stops many background activities like screen brightness, email and background downloads.  This will help keep your battery charged for the rest of the day.  This article will teach you how to Turn on Low Power Mode automatically on iPhone.

## How to    Automatically Enable Low Power Mode on iOS

Open up the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.

Tap “Automation” at the bottom of the screen.

If you've never created an automation before, tap on “Create Personal Automation” button.  If you already have other automations, you'll see them here.  Click the plus icon in the upper right corner of the screen to create a new one.

Scroll through the options to find and tap on “Battery Level”.  It will be tempting to tap “Low Power Mode”, but this automation triggers other actions when Low Power Mode is active, we are trying to change what activates Low Power Mode.

On the next screen, you will see a battery level slider.  This will be the battery level that activates low power mode.

Let's set our Low Power Mode to turn on when the battery drops below 30 percent.  There are no hard and fast rules here.  Tap “Next” in the top right corner after making your selection.

Tap the "Add Action" button button.

Search for “Low Power Mode” in the search bar and tap on “Set Low Power Mode” when it appears under the “Scripting” header.

You should return to the previous screen and see the “Enable Low Power Mode” action centered at the top of the screen.  Ignore the additional options below (unless you want to set an additional battery-saving script like dimming the brightness) and tap “Next”.

The next screen will preview your automation.  Tap the slider next to "Ask before running" to turn it off now, Low Power Mode will be turned on automatically without asking for permission first.
