Internet Explorer includes a feature called Content Advisor that administrators can use to control which sites a user can view.  Organizations that want to allow customers to view their website from computers in their store can configure IE to block all pages that are not the organization's domain.

## How to    Block all sites except a few

### Via Internet Options

Click Start on the desktop and type Control Panel in the search box.  Click on the result.

In the Control Panel window, change View By to Large Icons and select Internet Options.

In the Internet Properties window that opens, click the Connections tab and then click LAN settings button.

In the LAN Settings window, under Proxy Server, check the box next to Use a proxy server for your LAN.

Now in the Address field below add the proxy - 127.0.0.1 and set the Port field to 80. Then click the Next button button next to.

In the Proxy Settings window that appears up, go to the Exceptions section and under Do not use proxy server for addresses starting with, add the sites you want to access.  For example, here we've added YouTube and Google so that we can only access these sites.  So, type www.youtube.com and also youtube.com (without the www) to make it work.  likewise, write www.Google.com and also Google.com ((without the www) which means you must add the sites in both versions for them to work.

Also, separate web addresses with a semicolon.

Click OK to save and exit.
