## How to    Blur a background in Lightroom

### Method 1

Follow the steps to get started:

First, run the Adobe Lightroom app on your phone.

Now load the image you want to edit by tapping the plus icon available in the app.

After tapping the plus sign, it will open up your gallery phone from which you can select the image you want to edit.

When the image loads successfully, choose the radial filter available from the menu.

When you select this radial filter, it should appear in the image in the red circle.

Place it in the photo and cover the part of the image you want to highlight and blur the rest.

Now, expand this red circle with two fingers on the canvas and cover the part you want to focus on.

Now tap the Detail tab in the menu.

After that, decrease the sharpness to minus 100 to apply the effect successfully.

### Method 2

It's another amazing method by which you can blur the background of an image quickly with Adobe Lightroom on your phone.  Follow the guidelines to do this:

In the beginning, open up the Adobe Lightroom app by tapping it on your phone.

Select this image by accessing the gallery and camera roll by tapping on that plus sign.

After uploading the photo to the app, select this graduated filter from the menu.

The graduated filter will appear on the screen as three parallel lines with a red background.

You can also rotate it however you like.

After that, place it on the part of the image that you want to be blurred.

Now expand that filter with your two fingers on your phone screen to cover all the part you want to blur.

After that, go to the Detail section and decrease the sharpness to minus 100 to successfully blur the background of the image.
