Open the AirPods case next to yours phone, or place your AirPods in your ears.

Go to your Settings, tap on Bluetooth and find your AirPods among the available devices.

Click the little "i" icon next to your AirPods and you will see all the settings you can customize. Name: Tap "Name" and enter what you want to call your AirPods. Double tap settings: Tap “Left” or “Right” to set the action to double tap the AirPod.  Options include activating Siri, playing/pausing music, next track, previous track or just turning off double tapping. Auto Ear Detection: Turn this setting on or off to let your AirPods detect when they are in your ears.  If it is on, they will automatically play anything on your phone when you put on your AirPods and pause anything playing when you take out one or both pods. Microphone: Tap “Microphone” to choose which AirPod collects sound for phone microphone calls.  If you leave it on “Auto”, the microphone will transfer if you only have one AirPod connected.
