Open the Photos app.

Browse and select the video you want to cut.

Select Edit.

select the cut button, indicated by a square with circular arrows in the menu at the bottom of the screen.

Use the handles on the edges of the video to reshape the screen so that unwanted areas are shaded.

Select Done to save your changes.

### How to    Crop a video on iPhone with Video Crop

Download Video Crop from the App Store.

Open Video Crop on iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.

Select the crop icon in the middle of the screen.  You are presented with a list of the video files you have recorded on your iPhone.

Choose the video you want to cut to play it and check the checkmark in the upper right corner.

Tap and drag one of the corners of the box to start cropping your video and tap the center of the box to move it.
