If you connect more than one microphone or other recording device to your PC, you can choose which device you want to use by default.

To select a new microphone as the system default, follow these steps:

Open settings.

Click System.

Click Sound.

In the "Input" section, use the Choose Input Device drop-down menu and select the new default microphone.

After completing the steps, the selected microphone will be available as the system's main input device.

To change the default microphone settings in Control Panel, follow these steps:

Open Control Panel.

Click Hardware and Sound.
