One of the most common hardware components that users want/need to upgrade is the local hard drive. Reasons include limited storage space, better performance, and the ability to leverage features like UEFI or support for GPT disks. Upgrading to a new SSD hard drive, for example, can extend the life of a desktop or laptop PC for many years. I know I've done this a few times. Get the version called "stable" with a sequence of numbers after it. On the next screen, change the file type from “.zip” to “.iso”. Unless you know you need a 32-bit version of the software, you can leave the CPU architecture as “amd64”. Leave the repository set to “automatic”. Then click on “Download”. Insert a blank CD or DVD into your disc drive. Navigate to the downloaded ISO file in Windows Explorer. Right-click the file and choose “Burn Disc Image” from the context menu.
