To clean up your inbox, the email client provides a way to quickly and efficiently delete multiple emails at once.  The procedure for deleting multiple emails is the same regardless of which version of Outlook you use, but it differs slightly depending on whether you use a desktop or the mobile application.

## How to    delete multiple emails in Outlook on one computer

### To delete all emails in a single folder (such as inbox)

Click on any message to select it.

Then press CTRL + A to select all messages in the folder.

Press the Delete key to delete them.

### To delete a series of consecutive messages

Click on the first message and scroll to the last email you want to delete.

Holding the Shift key, click on the final the e-mail.

Press Delete.

### To delete non-consecutive emails

press and hold ctrl button on the keyboard.

While holding down the CTRL key, click each message you want to delete.

When ready, press Delete.

Open the folder with the messages you want to delete.

Tap and hold the first message you want to delete.  After a moment, checkboxes to the left of each email will appear.

Tap each message you want to delete.
