If you're already signed in to your Gmail account, the best method to do this is to use your Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Internet Explorer browser.  The Gmail app also allows you to clear your search history on your mobile device.

Log into your Gmail account in a browser on your Mac or PC.

Enter a term in the search bar.

An “X” will appear on the right side of the search bar.  Click on that “X”.  The term will now be deleted from your search history.

Go to google.com/history in a web browser.

In the Gmail history window, click “Filter by date and product”.
