MSA—MIUI System Ads—is a service that delivers ads in standard MIUI apps.  So the first step is to disable MSA ads by revoking authorization for them.

Since MSA is a system application, you will not find it in the Home Screen.  So what you need to do is:

Go to Settings > Passwords & Security.

Tap Authorization and Revocation.

Scroll down to msa and disable the button next to.

A “Revoking Authorization” alert will appear on the screen and the Revoke option will appear after 10 seconds.  Tap Revoke to disable MSA apps.  The number of advertisements will decrease significantly after the MSA authorization is revoked.

Go to Settings > Passwords & Security > Authorization & Revocation.

Scroll down until you see GetApps and turn off button next to.

Wait 10 seconds for Revoke button to activate on the “Revoke Authorization” screen.

Tap Revoke to disable ads.

Xiaomi phones they also deliver targeted ads in the form of personalized recommendations.  This is How to easily remove them by disabling ad services:

Go to Settings and tap on Passwords & Security.

Tap Privacy.

Scroll down to Ad Services and select it.

Turn off personalized ad recommendations.

It is not enough to disable ads in MSA and Ad Services.  You also need to stop ads for specific apps that come pre-installed on your Xiaomi phone.

Tap the Menu icon in the top left corner of the Music app home screen.

Tap Settings > Advanced Settings.

Open the MI File Manager.

Tap the three-line menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

Go to Settings > About.

Turn off recommendations.

The Downloads app also displays recommended content from time to time.  Here's How to disable this:

Open the Downloads app.

Tap the three-dot menu and select Settings.

Turn off Show recommended content.

You will be prompted to confirm that you want to disable recommended fonts.  Just tap OK.

If you are bothered by unwanted notifications from an installed app, you can easily disable them as well.

Go to settings.

Scroll down to Notifications & Control Center and tap on it.

Select app notifications and the notifications screen will open up.

Now, just turn off notifications for any app you want.
