Now, here we share the idea of how to turn off notifications when playing games on Android smartphones, targeting those users for whom notifications are not that important and are just annoying during gameplay.

## Disable in-game notifications using DND

Open Settings on your Android.

Navigate to Sounds and look for the “Do Not Disturb” option.

Choose from the do not disturb modes provided and enable it.  For example, to be notified of calls and messages only from specific contacts, choose “Allow priority interruptions only”.  Or, without interruptions, you can select the “Do not interrupt” option.
