## How to Download and Install YouTube on Nintendo Switch - Guide

At the final Last year, Nintendo Switch console users finally got their hands on some of the best media out there.  YouTube videos in particular, because you can watch YouTube videos on the Switch thanks to a Google app released last year. But on November 8, 2018, the YouTube app was released for Nintendo Switch consoles.

So far, only Hulu and YouTube are the only streaming apps available on the Nintendo eShop.  As the device is dedicated to gamers, there aren't many streaming apps for the console.  Also, some streaming sites are blocked.  They also cannot access streaming platforms through their websites. ## How to    Install YouTube on Nintendo Switch

Tap the Nintendo eShop icon on the screen.

Click on the search bar in the upper left corner of the screen.

The on-screen keyboard will appear.  Search on YouTube.

Select the YouTube app from the search results.

Click on Free Download button on the right side of the screen.  The YouTube app is available for free.

Click the Close button button on the next screen.

Now, you will see the download progress.

When the app is downloaded, you will get a popup in the upper left corner of the screen.

After that, open the YouTube app and login with your Google account.  Watch your favorite videos on YouTube.
