## How to Edit Name in COD: Mobile - Guide

As with most multiplayer games, Call of Duty: Mobile allows you to change your display name.  However, if you don't want to start all over again and lose your hard-earned progress, the first thing you need to do is follow these simple steps.  There are a few different ways to change your Call of Duty name: Mobile.  The first (and recommended) method requires a Facebook account.  When the game loads, log in with your Facebook credentials and your data and progress will be securely linked to your account.  Now uninstall Call of Duty: Mobile application on your phone and reinstall it.

For iOS users, you can do this by holding the app icon and tapping the X that appears in the corner.  For Android users, you can go to Settings, Apps, Notifications and see all apps.  When you scroll down and find Call of Duty: Mobile, choose Uninstall.  After reinstalling the game from the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android, log in with your Facebook account.  Next time you download Call of Duty: Mobile, the game will ask you to choose a new nickname.  If you'd like to change your ad later, repeat these steps.

## How to change the username in COD Mobile for free

Open Call Of Duty Mobile game on your smartphone and click on the profile name and the image in the upper left corner of the screen as shown below.

Then choose the Notebook icon tab located after the first tab.

This will show an EDIT button next to your username.  Click on edit button (pencil icon) to change the username to a new one.

It will say that Rename will be available in 3 days and renaming will cost 1 Rename Card.

Then click Change button under the username.

Now you will see a message like “You need a name change card”.  Then click buy button.

Now a message will be displayed with Purchase with 200 CP button.  click on it button.  Don't worry, you won't have to spend any money even though it says buy it.

After that it will show a screen with 500 CP points.  Now change the currency to C credits instead of CP.  the C points you can get for free.

Now click buy button and you can change your username for free.

Now if your name hasn't changed.  Then click the edit button. button in the username again and enter the new username and click change.  Now the username will be changed successfully.
