## How to Enable Chrome OS Android Phone Hub Now - Guide

Google has announced that this week marks the 10th anniversary of the Chromebook.  And it introduced Chrome OS version 89, which brings more news features to the stable branch.  One of them is called "Phone Hub” that you can use to pair your Android phone.  Then use it to remotely control your phone and see recently opened tabs in Chrome.  This allows you to choose up where you left off in your browser on Chromebook.  if you don't see Phone Hub, make sure your system is up to date and running Chrome OS version 89. Go to Settings > About Chrome OS.  There you will see the version that is running.  If it is not version 89, click the Check for updates button button and restart if necessary.

If you are an Android and Chromebook user, rejoice that Google has just made it possible for users to achieve much-needed integration between these devices.  This integration is done through the Phone Hub on Chrome OS.  With this new feature you can mute and track your phone get notifications from your phone to your Chromebook and even open Android Chrome tabs on Chrome OS.

## How to    to define up Phone    Axle

Open the Settings app on your Chrome OS device

Go to the Connected Devices section

Next to Android Phone, click the Set button up button

Select the Android device you want to connect to and click the Accept and Continue button button

Enter your Google account password

Select the Done button it's yours phone and the Chromebook will now be connected

## How to    change your Phone hub settings

Open the Settings app on your Chrome OS device.

Go to the Connected Devices section.

Click on the small arrow next to your name. phone.

In the list of options, there will be a call Phone Axle.  You can use this toggle to enable the feature on or off.

under the Phone Hub switch, there are two more options:

Notifications — Enable this option and follow the instructions to receive notifications from your phone on your Chromebook.  you will need your phone unlocked and next to complete the setup which will involve allowing notification access to Google Play Services.

Recent Chrome Tabs — This will be on by default, allowing you to see your open Chrome tabs on your phone at the Phone Axle
