### How to    crop an image with a shape in Google Slides on the web

Open slides.google.com in a browser and open the slide you want to edit.

Click on the image to select it.  The selected image will have a blue border.  If you haven't added an image yet, go to Insert > Image from the top menu bar and insert an image.

When the image is selected, click the small down arrow next to the Crop icon on the top bar.  A menu with a variety of shapes will appear.  Select the shape needed to hide your image.

The shape will automatically crop your image.

To fit the image inside the shape, double-click the photo.  A black border will appear around you.  Drag the image to change its position within the shape.  You can adjust the size of the image on the shape by dragging the border.

Launch the Google Slides app for Android and open the presentation needed to edit it.

Tap your slide image to select it.  Then tap the Crop icon at the bottom.

Tap on the Mask icon available on the bottom bar.  Select the desired shape from the list.

Tap outside the image to apply the mask.  Double-tap the masked image to fit it to the shape.

Open the Google Slides app on iOS / iPadOS.

On the desired slide, tap the image.  Tap the Crop icon.

The Mask icon now appears next to the Crop icon.  Touch it.  The list of shapes will open.  Tap the desired shape.
