YouTube has announced a number of updates to its YouTube Music TV app, including televisions with the Android TV operating system and the new Chromecast with Google TV.  For all smart TVs, YouTube Music users can now access saved playlists and popular songs from their available libraries, the company said in a blog post.  The options appear on the YouTube Music tab in the YouTube TV app.  The update also includes new visuals to showcase album and playlist art.  “We are working hard to bring even more features to YouTube Music,” reads the blog post.  “For the next few months, YouTube Music Premium users will be able to continue playing music in the background after exiting the app.”

The main change is that Android TV OS users can access music uploads directly to their library.  There's also a new playback interface that includes relevant information like the artist's name and shows a progress bar while a song is playing.  For devices with Android TV home On the screen, users can also use a new YouTube Music lineup for easier navigation, according to the blog.

## How to    Stream YouTube music on Apple TV

Connect your Apple TV to the HDMI port and stable internet connection.

Go to the App Store.

Tap the search bar and type YouTube using the virtual keyboard.

Choose the YouTube app and select Install button.

Launch the YouTube app on your TV.

The activation code will appear on your TV screen.  write it down

On your mobile or PC, open your web browser and visit the YouTube activation site.

In the respective box, enter the code displayed and click Next.

The YouTube app will be activated on your Apple TV
