Open a webpage in the Safari app.

Type the word or phrase you want to find in the address bar (where the url is located).

Scroll down to On This Page and tap Find “[word(s) you entered].  ”

tap up and the down arrows at the bottom of the screen to see all occurrences of the word or phrase you are looking for.  It will be highlighted in yellow.

When finished, tap Done at the bottom of the screen.

## How to    Control-F on an iPhone webpage using Chrome

Open a webpage in the Chrome app.

Tap the icon with three dots (…) in the lower right corner of the screen.  Scroll down and tap Find on Page...

Type the word or phrase you want to find in the search bar at the top of the screen.

tap up and the down arrows to see all occurrences of the word or phrase you are looking for.  It will be highlighted in yellow.

When finished, tap Done in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Open a webpage in the Safari or Chrome app.

tap Share icon.  Looks like a box with an arrow pointing up.

Scroll down and tap Find on page (Safari) or Find on page (Chrome).

Type the word or phrase you want to find in the search bar.  Use the up and the down arrows to see all occurrences of the word or phrase, highlighted in yellow.

When finished, tap Done.

The iPhone also has two features that you can use to search for words or phrases in the Messaging app.  You can use the search bar in the Messaging app or the iOS Spotlight search feature to search your SMS conversations by words.
