### Disable Require Attention for Face ID

Open the Settings app, scroll down and tap on Face ID & Password.

Enter your iPhone passcode.

Turn off the toggle for Require Face ID Attention → OK.

Now, even if your eyes are fully closed, your iPhone will be unlocked.  This means that while you are sleeping, and if someone lifts your phone in front of your face, it will open.

### To define Up an alternative appearance

Face ID continuously learns facial changes such as beard and hair growth.  But if you regularly wear a very different look, lets set up an alternative appearance.

Returning;  if you regularly face slow unlocking, open Settings app → Face ID & Password → Set Up an Alternative Appearance.
