## How to Remove Saved Passwords from iCloud Keychain and Safari on Mac - Guide

Apple offers iCloud Keychain as a one-stop solution for automatically adding, saving, and filling in passwords stored on Apple devices.  whenever you sign up for an app or connect to the Internet with an email ID and password, Apple prompts you to save these credentials in iCloud Keys so that you can automatically use the credentials on your iPad, Mac, and iPhone to sign in.  Apple's software platforms use the iCloud platform to sync data between devices.

On a Mac, the system also stores Wi-Fi passwords in iCloud Keychain.  You can delete saved Safari browser passwords and iCloud Keys.  If you want to switch to a third-party password manager and you no longer need iCloud Keys, you can remove the service's saved passwords.  Also, it is always recommended to remove unwanted Mac passwords as this can clutter up the list.

## How to    Clear passwords saved on Safari MacBook MacOS Montery or earlier

Open the Safari app on Mac.

Click Safari on the top menu bar.  Select Preferences.

Click Passwords, enter your Mac login password.

Select the password you want to delete and click [-] Remove from the bottom of the window.  Here we can select multiple login details, by command + click on the website name.

Confirm Delete to Remove from iCloud Keys.

## How to    remove passwords from mac keychain

Open the Finder.

Click Go on the top menu bar.

Select Utilities.

Find access to keys.  If you don't see Keychains, click View and then Show Keychains.

(sidebar) Under Keychains, choose iCloud.

Again in the sidebar, click on Passwords.

Right click on the password you want to remove from Keychains.

Click Delete and confirm.
