With so many benefits that come with a rooted device, the reasons are obvious to everyone.

For those new to the root world, getting root access essentially means you get enhanced privileges.  With root access, you can change or replace apps and system settings, run special apps that require administrator privileges, or perform other operations that are inaccessible to an ordinary Android user.  And by proxy, you can also access certain “hidden” device features or use existing ones in new ways.

### How to    Use 360 ​​Root without PC

Go to Settings > Security and enable the 'installation from unknown sources' option.

Now download the 360 ​​Root app apk file using your device's browser.

Install the apk you just downloaded by clicking the 'Install' button button.  This will start the installation process which will complete when all criteria are met.

Once the 360 ​​Root app is installed, launch the app.  You will be greeted by the application logo.

The app will ask for some permissions that you will need to grant.

Then click on the 'Start' button button in the middle of the screen.  This will take you to another screen that has a button called 'Root'.

Click this 'Root' button and it will start rooting your Android smartphone.

You will be able to see the percentage of root in progress on the screen.  When this reaches 100%, the rooting operation will complete successfully.

Download Kingroot APK on your smartphone or tablet.

Once the download is complete, tap on the com.kingroot.kinguser.apk file and select 'Install' to start the installation process.

Upon doing so, you will get a 'Blocked by Play Protect' warning saying "This app contains code that attempts to circumvent Android security protections".  Click on the 'Details' option in the prompt message and select 'Install Anyway' to continue the installation.

You will receive a confirmation message once the app is installed.

Then you will have to tap on 'Open' to launch the app on your device.

Click 'Try to Root' to start root and follow the on-screen messages.  This will start rooting your device.  Hold until 'Successfully Rooted' appears.

If this app fails to root your device, don't worry.  Just uninstall the app and no harm will be done to your device.
