## How to Select Speakers for Audio Output in Windows 11 PC - Guide

If you use several different speakers, speakers, and headphones on your computer or laptop, you need to periodically switch between them to output sound to a specific speaker.  Of course, you can remove the speaker and plug it back into your PC, and then it will automatically use the default speaker and play the sound, but this method is not convenient.  Many people may find it useful to set the volume for different players, browsers, system sounds, etc.  separately.

Also, you can now output sound to different devices at the same time.  For example, sound from a video player can be output via HDMI to a TV set or a monitor (if you have connected a monitor to your notebook, for example). ### How to    Select an audio output device in Windows 11 using the Settings app

Launch the Windows Settings app by pressing the Windows + I keys on your keyboard.

Select the System category in the left sidebar when Windows Settings opens.

In the System right side panel, click the Sound tab.

Now in the Output section you will see a list of audio devices connected to your PC.

Click on any of the devices you want to use as an audio output.

You can now close the Settings page.  Changes will be saved automatically.

Open the Quick Settings menu by pressing the Windows + A keyboard shortcut and click the Quick Settings area on the taskbar.

When the quick settings menu opens, click the right-facing arrow (caret) next to the volume slider.

Then you will see a list of audio output devices connected to your computer.  Click on whichever one you would like to use.

When done, click anywhere outside the Quick Settings menu to close this pop-up.up.up window.
