## How to Select Spe­cif­ic Pictures for Wid­get­smith iOS - Guide

WidgetSmith is a really cool app for managing widgets on iOS.  Widget Smith offers many widgets and you can manage all widgets in one place.  With WidgetSmith you can choose a photo widget to display a photo or use a weather widget to display the weather and many other widgets you can imagine.  The best part is that you can edit the widgets as per your requirements, including font color, shape, size and how to display content in three different sizes.

One of the famous widgets that attracts the attention of many iPhone users is the Custom Photo Widget.  With the iPhone's default photo widget, you can't determine which photos or albums to display.  But Widget Smith Custom Photo Widget allows you to select photos, choose an album or show a photo.

## Stepson how to add a photo widget in Widgetsmith

Open the Widgetsmith app and choose a widget size.

Tap “Standard Widget”.

Under Style, scroll down to the Custom section.

Select “Photo” if you want to show a single still image.  Or select “Photos in album” to display photos in a specific album that rotate automatically.

Make sure you allow Widgetsmith permission to “Access all your photos”.

After selecting the Photo widget, tap the “Selected Photo” tile at the bottom of the screen.  If you select photos in an album, tap the “Selected album” option.

Tap "Choose Photo" to access your camera list.

Browse your photos, choose one from an album, or search for the photo you want.  Or select one of the photo albums if you are viewing photos from an album.

Go back and save your changes. Tip: Name your widget to make it easy to remember.

That's it.  Now just add the Widgetsmith photo widget to home screen.
