## How to Send Pho­tos on Google Duo - Guide

Google Duo finally got another feature to embed photos - Version 56 - which is currently to some degree live and allows users to send unique Snapchat-like photos to their contacts.

“Delivered on Thursday, Google Duo variant 56 adds the app to the Android system's sharing sheet, reminding Google Photos and Files.  This allows users to send messages with any photo saved on their device through Duo.

“Once in the app, you approach similar devices like sending a video message.  This incorporates drawing and adding text with various shadings and accessible sizes.

## Like Share Photos on Google Duo

Open the photo you want to share through a file explorer app or directly from the gallery.

tap share button.

Select Duo from the share menu.

The photo you opened will appear in an editing window.

An icon marked 'A' lets you add text to the photo.  The color you want the text to appear in can be chosen from a row of multicolored circles placed above the keyboard.

You have the option to choose between three different pen types at the bottom of the screen.  After adding the text you want to add, you can click 'Next' to exit the editing window.

The next window allows you to select the contacts you want to share the photo with.  You can choose up for five contacts.
