## How to Set-up and Use Bix­by Rou­tines on Sam­sung Devices - Guide

Samsung Bixby Digital Assistant lets you control your smartphone with voice commands.  You can open apps, really see the weather, play music, turn on Bluetooth and more.  You'll find everything you really wanted to know about the greatest mobile rival underneath, including how to get there, the features it offers and on which gadgets it is accessible.

Samsung introduced another feature Bixby Routines calls for your phones last year, allowing you to define up Basic robotic governments for specific activities - like IFTTT, or less surprisingly, worked in the form of Tasker for Samsung phones.  However, it is accessible on devices like the Galaxy S10, Note10 and Galaxy Fold, Samsung never carried the feature for the more established S9 or Note9, even on recent Android 10 / One UI 2 updates. However, we found that sideloading the latest version of the Bixby Routines app loads the feature for more established devices, including the Galaxy S9 and Note9, and it also works for some older devices like the Galaxy S8 running Android Pie.

Regardless of whether you are an ardent Bixby user, you may not think about the new Bixby Routines feature, which can help you explore your day-to-day schedule.  For example, when you work towards the start of the day, Bixby can mute the warning sounds and turn on Wi-Fi.  Or, when you're resting, Bixby can turn on the blue light filter and lower the screen's brightness level.

Before trying the recommendations below, be sure to check that your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version.  To update your mobile device software, follow these steps:

Go to Settings > Software Update.

Tap Download and Install.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

## How to    access Bixby Routines

There are two different methods for accessing Bixby Routines in your phone:

Open in Settings

Go to Settings and select Advanced features.

Choose Bixby Routines.

Go to the quick panel and swipe left.

Tap and hold the Bixby Routines icon.

To make accessing the Bixby Routines easier, you can add an icon to your phoneApp screen.  Under Bixby Routines, tap More options (the three vertical dots), then tap Settings.  Tap the button next to Add Bixby routines to apps screen.
