## How to Set up Split-Screen in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Guide

Of course there are three modes namely Zombies, Multiplayer and Campaign.  Split screen can only be used for two of them as the campaign is not supported.  Black Ops Cold War Season 1 updates add support for Zombies with better stability and multiplayer.  In the Multiplayer or Zombies menu, connect a second controller and press X or A. The second player can use a guest account or sign in to an alternate account.  If the goal is to play online, the second player must have an account that also has a PlayStation Network or Xbox Live subscription.

Otherwise, logging into the second account without a subscription simply means players can only play a local version of the game.  This might not be the best for multiplayer, but it can still be a lot of fun for zombies.  AN final step is to decide on the screens.  By default, split screen is rendered with screens stacked horizontally.  If players prefer a vertical version of the screens, this can be changed in the graphics panel settings.  Of course, the first Battle Pass was put into play, which saves progress between three games;  Modern Warfare, Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
