## How to    define your home button    on Google Chrome

Open the Chrome browser.

Press the More menu, indicated by three dots located in the upper-right corner of the browser window.

Choose Settings from the drop-down menu.  You can also enter chrome: // settings in Chrome address bar instead of choosing menu option to open Chrome settings interface in active tab.

Locate the Appearance section, which contains an option labeled Show Home button.

To add the Home button    to the Chrome toolbar, click Show Home button    to switch the slider next to it to the On position.  To remove the Home button    later click on Show home button    again to switch the slider to the Off position.

Click on one of the two radios buttons under Show home button    to instruct the Home button    to point to a new blank tab or to any URL entered in the field provided.

This process places a small house icon just to the left of the address field.  Click on the house icon at any time to go to the Home screen.
