## How to Show/Hide App Store Purchases on iPhone, iPad/Mac - Guide

Hidden apps are not visible in your shopping list.  For example, if you long press the App Store icon > Purchases > My Purchases, the hidden app will not appear here.  If you often give your iPhone to friends or family and you've downloaded an app that you don't want to see, you can hide it from your iPhone and your shopping list.

With Family Sharing, apps you've purchased can be re-downloaded for free to your family members, including your children.  So if you purchased an app that is inappropriate for added family members, hiding the app will not re-download them.  Hiding an app just removes it from the shopping list.  However, if the app has already been downloaded to your device or a family member's device, it will remain as is.  In addition, you can also download hidden apps without revealing them.

## Hide App Store Purchases on iPhone and iPad

Open the App Store on your iOS or iPadOS device.

Now make sure the Today tab is selected.  Then tap your profile in the top right corner and select Purchased.

Then select All or No in this iPhone/iPad tab as per your need.  After that, swipe left on an app or game and choose Hide.  Repeat for all other purchases.  At the finalbe sure to tap Done.

## Unhide Apps on iOS and iPadOS

Open the App Store on your device > Today tab > profile picture.

Now, tap on your profile again.

Scroll down and tap on the Hidden Purchases option located under the iTunes Cloud section.  Then tap on the cloud button next to the app you want to redownload or show it in the repurchased section.

## Hide App Store Purchases on the Mac App Store

Launch the App Store on your Mac.  Make sure you are connected.

Now, click on your name located in the lower left sidebar.

Then you should see all your purchased apps.  Hold the pointer over a specific application and click on the three dots that appear up.  Then choose Hide Purchase.

Finally, click Hide Purchase in the confirmation message.  Repeat for all other Mac apps you want to hide.
