There is also a clipboard history feature which allows users to use not only the last copied content, but also previously copied content on the computer.  one of the best news features in Windows 10 October 2018 Update is the fact that you can save various items to the clipboard and sync them across Windows 10 PCs and other devices.  For the sync to work, you must use the same Microsoft account on your devices, have that feature turned on and have a working internet connection.

the new clipboard features are available starting with the Windows 10 October 2018 Update. If you have an older version of Windows, you will not be able to use the new clipboard.  Likewise, the Windows clipboard saves everything you copy and paste on your PC.  Whether text, image or video files.  Microsoft recently added a new feature which allows you to enable Windows 10 clipboard history. This means that the Windows clipboard records the data you copy to your computer.  So the data doesn't disappear as soon as you paste it somewhere.  Also, you can sync Windows 10 clipboard history with another computer.

## How to    enable windows 10 clipboard history

Now, if you simply want to view the Windows clipboard history on your machine locally, then follow the steps mentioned below:

Go to Settings > System > Clipboard.

turn on toggle button in the clipboard history.

Then press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V to bring up the clipboard history pop-up.

So in this way you can see the list of items that you copy on your system.

## How to    sync Windows 10 clipboard history to another PC

As mentioned above, both machines must be running Windows 10 1903 (or later) to use clipboard sync feature.  Also, make sure you are logged in with the same Microsoft account and that both machines are connected to the internet.

Go to Settings > System > Clipboard.  Here, enable the toggle button under Sync between devices.

Here, you can choose to sync the text automatically or when opening the clipboard history by pressing Ctrl+V.

Now depending on your internet connection speed it will take some time for the clipboard history to show up on the other machine.

Simply press the Ctrl+V shortcut again on the second computer.
