However, not everyone has stable internet connectivity and many people say they cannot update their Windows 10 online.  Also, if you want to download updates manually and save them to your computer, it is better to download Windows 10 update offline.  With the previously downloaded Windows 10 installation package, you can install and update Windows 10 faster on your computer by updating Windows 10 offline.  Also, Windows 10 offline upgrade can save your time because you don't have to wait for the internet to download and analyze your system settings.

## Use updates or patches

Download the Windows 10 .msu/.exe update files.

Select the desired Windows 10 Update version and double-click on it.

The system will check whether the update was installed earlier or not.  If it is available on your PC, the installation will begin.  All you need to do is follow the onscreen instructions.

After installation, restart your PC.

If you want to install multiple .msu files, run them one after the other.  But you cannot restart your PC until all .msu files are installed.
