## How to use Bitmoji on Gboard - Guide

Bitmoji are custom emojis that look just like you and can be used for funny memes or sarcastic replies.  Normally, you need to find one of these reaction emojis in the Bitmoji app and upload it to the app via the Android share menu where you want to post it, but there is a much better way.  Gboard added in-app support for Bitmoji in 2017, which means you can skip the step of navigating the Bitmoji app and sharing it right from your keyboard.  When we're done, you'll be able to use Bitmoji in any app that supports inserting images.

You must have at least 5% internal storage space to use Bitmoji for Gboard.  You can check your available storage space by going to your phone settings.  Many devices have a special settings page called “Storage”.  Some manufacturers, like Samsung, put it in a different menu called “Device Maintenance”.  Those looking for an enhanced Bitmoji experience can add Bitmoji to their apps and browsers, including Google's Android-based Gboard keyboard.

## How to    use Bitmoji in Gboard

Open an app where you can type, like Google Keep.

Tap the square icon with a smiley face located at the top of Gboard.

Look for the flashing face icon at the bottom of Gboard and tap on it.

Tap Install Bitmoji.

Download and install the Bitmoji Android app.

Open the Bitmoji Android app.

Select Continue with Snapchat, Create Avatar, or Login.

To define up your Bitmoji avatar depending on the login option you selected.

Open a typing app and tap the square smiley face icon in Gboard again.

Tap the flashing face icon at the bottom of Gboard.

Choose any Bitmoji sticker you like and tap on it to send.

once you defined up your Bitmoji avatar in the Android app, the stickers will automatically appear on Gboard.  From there, you can combine Bitmoji and Gboard's best emoji mashups into your conversations.
