## How to use DS4Windows PS5 DualSense on PC - Guide

While Valve has added support for the PlayStation 5's DualSense controller, another party is working on their own solution.  This is DS4Windows, an application that brings PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 support to PC.  A few days ago I contacted support for DualSense and was told that it was being fixed.  Today, an updated version of DS4Windows was released and I decided to give it a try.

With this new update, DS4Windows supports DualSense controller in Windows and adds support for trackpad, LED and noise.  LED settings can be customized such as light pad color for DualSense controller, button mapping and games that support the controller will use it.

While the Steam update for DualSense support was good, this DS4Windows update is awesome.  I say this because it adds support for all PC games.  In other words, games from Battle.net, Epic Games Store, GOG, launcher from Bethesda and even Steam, without installing the beta client.  For now, the lightbar and noise support are only available via USB.  A future update will add Bluetooth support for DS4Windows.

## How to    connect the PS5 DualSense controller to a PC

Open Settings on your PC.

Select Devices.

Click Add Bluetooth or Other Device.

Click Bluetooth.

To put the PS5 controller into pairing mode, hold the PlayStation and Share buttons    together until the light around the touchpad blinks.

Click Wireless Controller when it appears.

Wait for pairing to complete.

## How to    use PS5 DualSense controller with Steam

Open settings.

Click Controller in the sidebar.

Click General Controller Settings.

Make sure PlayStation Setup support is enabled.
